He travelled to England where he learned how to ripen beer in oak barrels and then mix old and young beers. Rodenbach became the world’s best-know ‘mixed fermentation’ brewery. In 1998, the company was purchased by Belgium Craft Breweries, owner of PALM Brewery. RODENBACH the original sour ale brewery of Belgium.
