- Crimson red ruby with purple tints. The nose is very fruity with blackcurrant notes. On the palate, the wine is very fruity, supple with a bright and mineral finish.
- Maceration for 6 days with whole clusters in gridded vats. Aged for 6 months in concrete vats with light filtration.
- From a vineyard planted in 1951 on pink-tinged granite in the northern part of the appellation near the cru of Fleurie, this is a juicy, engaging, fruity, carbonic-style Beaujolais with plenty of candyfloss and strawberry flavour, ripe and juicy. I'd call this a regional paradigm, immediately identifiable, hitting all of the right notes. Great length, too. Lovely wine. Tasted August 2016. - 89 points - John Szabo, Wine Align - Here's a very pleasant, well balanced, youthful gamay. It pours fairly deep purple-ruby. The nose shows pretty floral, blueberry character with shadings of more earthy beetroot and pepper. It's light to medium bodied, nicely balanced with fine acidity and checked alcohol. Just a bit dry on the finish. The length is very good. Tasted August 2016 - 88 points - David Lawrason, Wine Align
